The Linn Klimax Solo 800 Isolation Platforms are manufactured from Custom Design’s world renowned Acoustic Steel. The Custom Design unique, Intra Specific Isolation Technology creates a constrained layer dampening system to provide the perfect, discrete, high mass hifi isolation platform which includes 50mm x 50mm supports, interface dampening gaskets and anti resonance absorbing feet.
The Lin Klimax Solo 800 isolation platforms are designed with an initial high mass feature to convert and dampen resonance energy vibration. To isolate hifi equipment from the supporting system/furniture with a unique Intra Specific Isolation principle with a viscoelastic patent polymer converting unwanted resonance energy to negiliable heat through friction. Energy can be neither created or destroyed, only changed. The resonance energy that could be generated by the supporting system or the hifi equipment itself. This is achieved through a viscoelastic patented polymer system which is pressed between 2 sheets of CR4 mild steel, a 1mm and 6mm format, with a high initial mass for best results, creating a perfect constrained layer dampening platform with a high weight loading capability.
The Intra Specific Isolation, viscoelastic hifi isolation platform converts resonance energy to negligible heat by the creation of friction. The resulting improvements are highly significant and the versatility of Custom Design enables the perfect Hifi Isolation Platform to be custom made to compliment any Mono Power Amp with a height. The HiFi Isolation Platforms are only available in one size as standard 350mm x 410mm (custom sizes available on request), offer magnitude in clarity and separation resulting in an inky blackness and depth to the bass frequency, with a significant improvement in the mid range with timing and detail. Custom Design sources all cardboard packaging from only PEFC or FSC certified companies. 76% of the cardboard packaging has been manufactured from recycled material which can be 100% recycled.
